Jerry J. Gumpel

Jerry Gumpel is a partner in the Corporate Practice Group in Sheppard Mullin’s San Diego office and is the leader of the firm’s Latin American team. Jerry advises multinational corporations, entrepreneurs, privately held businesses, financial service providers, and family office clients on their domestic and international corporate and real estate matters. He specializes in the formation of joint ventures and partnerships, structuring investment vehicles and platforms, mergers and acquisitions, corporate structure and governance, raising of debt and equity domestically and abroad and the negotiation of strategic alliances and co-investments with private equity funds.

Tamar R. Rosenberg

Tamar Rosenberg is a partner in the Tax, Employee Benefits, and Trust & Estates Practice Group in Sheppard Mullin’s New York office and is the leader of the firm’s Nonprofit Sector Team. Tamar has advised a wide range of non-profit organizations in various sectors, as well as for-profit businesses and individuals with their interactions with nonprofits and with achieving their charitable objectives. Corey F. Steady

Corey Steady is a partner in the Tax, Employee Benefits, and Trust & Estates Practice Group in Sheppard Mullin’s Orange County office. Corey advises U.S. citizens, residents, and nonresident noncitizens regarding U.S. gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer tax planning, specializing in family wealth planning, estate planning, and probate and trust administration. Corey also advises fiduciaries in regards to the administration of trusts and estates, public charities and private foundations, and clients with their charitable tax planning.

Daniel Weiner

Dan Weiner is the Founder and Managing Attorney of Weiner Law in Del Mar. The firm focuses on comprehensive estate planning, including charitable giving, and handles trust administration and probate cases. Dan also contributes his expertise to the board of Seacrest Village Retirement Communities, the Planned Giving Advisory Council of Make a Wish Foundation San Diego, and the Duke Law School Alumni Board. Prior to setting up his firm, Dan worked at international law firms for 10 years in London, Hong Kong, and Washington, DC.
