David is a long time San Diego resident whose family has been part of the Jewish community for four generations. David spent his career at WAXIE Sanitary Supply, starting in 1977 and working through roles in customer service, purchasing, sales, and sales management before serving as Executive Vice President.

David has served as President of the Lawrence Family JCC and Board Chair of the JCC Association of North America. David is a past co-chair of JCF’s Endowment Leadership Institute.
