Tina Beranbaum

One of our grandsons recently commented that he would not be alive if it was not for us. Indeed, we would not be alive if our grandparents and great grandparents had not fled difficult situations. Our parents taught us the importance of being Jewish and our responsibility to our community including donating our time and tzedakah.

Coming to San Diego and knowing no one, we found our home and were socially, intellectually, and spiritually nourished by a diverse Jewish community. Our children and grandchildren live far away. While we work to ensure a strong Jewish legacy for our family, we also want to contribute to ensuring the continued growth and vibrancy of San Diego’s Jewish community. By leaving our legacy gift, we are privileged to support the social, learning, and spiritual development of Jewish San Diego.
