Michael Rabkin I grew up in a home where Jewish philanthropy was a priority, and I have lived my life – and shaped my career – driven by a mission to strengthen and enrich Jewish life. My parents, Barbara and Morton, modeled an abiding commitment to Jewish education, Zionism, supporting vulnerable Jews around the world, and stepping up as leaders to build community. My late wife, Naomi, believed passionately in Jewish connection rooted in purpose, action, and justice. Her spirit continues to guide me and our daughters, Jolene and Talia. I want my daughters to know that giving is not just about generosity. It’s about responsibility. It’s about choosing to invest in the kind of Jewish future we want to see. That’s why I’ve included Jewish Federation of San Diego and Hillel of San Diego in my legacy plan. These organizations reflect the values our family holds dear: caring for the vulnerable, nurturing Jewish identity, and investing in the next generation. My legacy commitments honor the foundation my parents laid, the love and vision Naomi brought to everything she touched, and the future I hope my daughters will help lead a future where Jewish life is strong, joyful, and sustained by people who choose to show up.
