Mark Stuckelman I learned firsthand about the generosity of the Jewish community when my home was destroyed in the 1991 Oakland Hills Fire, and I received a grant from the local Federation to get me back on my feet. Over the next 20 years, I became deeply involved with the UJF and JCF and learned much more about the tremendous support these organizations provide to Jews locally and around the world. I witnessed the positive impact Jewish organizations have on people’s lives and the sense of community and Jewish identity they helped foster. I also saw the enormity of need that exists. For these reasons, I have decided to make support for Jewish philanthropic organizations a key component of my legacy.
