Jessica Effress I had been giving a gift and volunteering at the Federation for several years before a UJC mission to the Former Soviet Union really opened my eyes to how crucial our gifts are to the survival of the Jewish people. The gratitude we received from the beneficiaries of our donations was overwhelming. This experience solidified and justified my commitment of both time and money to the United Jewish Federation. Now I endow my gift to ensure that the support I give today will last in perpetuity, so that my children and their children can live in the vibrant Jewish community we have built.
