Fran Forman and Family

Having grown up in a warm and deeply Jewish home, the value of helping others was instilled in me from the very beginning. My parents were strong advocates for those facing economic and social challenges. At the same time, our home was the favorite gathering place for my friends—filled with warmth, generosity, and open hearts.

As an adult, I have devoted my life to creating opportunities for others. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have found my true calling — a mission that fills my heart and soul with purpose. The truth is, I receive far more than I give. Each day, I work with joy and a deep sense of fulfillment.

This is why I’ve chosen to leave my legacy to the JCC. Being closely involved with the organization has given me a clear and honest view of the vital role it plays in sustaining and strengthening Jewish life. I want my children and grandchildren to understand that this act is not just about generosity — it is about responsibility. It is what we do as Jews to make the world more just, compassionate, and whole. We are meant to be part of each other’s salvation.
