The Ripple Effect: Legacy in Action One decision. One commitment. A ripple that reaches generations. What does it mean to leave a legacy? This fall, we invite you to explore The Ripple Effect, a new interactive exhibit celebrating more than 20 years of Create a Jewish Legacy, a program of Jewish Community Foundation San Diego that has helped individuals and families strengthen the future of Jewish life in our region. Through stories, photographs, testimonials, and interactive experiences, visitors will discover how acts of generosity create lasting impact. From local families who chose to support the organizations they love, to the visionary leaders who helped launch a movement that grew beyond San Diego, the exhibit explores the many ways one decision can shape generations. You will learn how San Diego became the birthplace of an innovative approach to legacy giving that inspired the national Life & Legacy® program, extending the ripple effect of planned giving to support Jewish organizations across North America. Browse exhibit walls filled with personal reflections, explore the interactive Book of Life kiosk, and discover the names and stories of the 1,500+ Create a Jewish Legacy Society members who are helping ensure a vibrant Jewish future. Most importantly, you will be invited to reflect on your own story. How will you be remembered? What values do you hope to pass on? What will your legacy be? Join us in celebrating the individuals, families, and partner organizations whose generosity continues to strengthen Jewish San Diego today and for generations to come. The Ripple Effect will be on display in the Gotthelf Gallery at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center, JACOBS FAMILY CAMPUS through January 10, 2027. We invite you to visit, reflect, and add your voice to the story of Jewish San Diego. Because each of our lives has a ripple effect on others. And all of us leave a legacy. The Ripple Effect
