I grew up in a small town where the Synagogue was one of the significant centers of attention of my childhood. When I entered the beautiful building, I saw names of my grandparents and other relatives who had contributed funds to make this building a reality. Since that time, I have lived in several different cities in the US and abroad. In every instance, the Synagogue was a stabilizing and important point of reference in my life. Fortunately, I have some saved funds that allow me to do what my parents were unable to accomplish, bequeath a Legacy gift to make a small impact on ensuring the continuation of the Ohr Shalom Synagogue building for future generations. By making this gift, I honor those who have built and maintained the shul in the past and leave it in the hands of the next generations to continue that effort.
