Ohr Shalom holds a very special place in our hearts. My husband, deeply proud of his Ashkenazi and Sephardi heritage, and I, a Jewish woman and proud convert, have found here a home filled with love, respect, and inclusivity—a place where kindness is constant and community thrives.

In this sacred space, we have been truly welcomed, nurtured in our spiritual growth, and embraced as part of a Jewish family that honors every individual. We are making this legacy gift to ensure that future generations will always have a place for spiritual guidance, a supportive Jewish community, and the enduring values of compassion and connection.

Through this gift, we also fulfill our moral obligation of tzedakah, helping to secure the life and future of the synagogue we cherish. Our hope is that long after we are gone, others will walk through these doors and feel what we have felt — love, belonging, and the joy of living a Jewish life.
