Allan Saltz Vivid Packaging Allan is originally from Krugersdorp, South Africa and immigrated to Cleveland, Ohio in 1978. He graduated from Washington and Jefferson College in Washington, P.A. with a degree in Accounting. Allan’s career began working in the finance department of a large international hardwood lumber manufacture called Industrial Timber and Land Co. based in Cleveland, Ohio. During 5 years at ITL he gained experience in several aspects of the business including manufacturing at several large lumber operations and sales and marketing. During his final two years at ITL, he established, built and ran a sizable distribution center in Ontario, California. The business unit grew, eventually having hundreds of customers covering most of the Western United States. In 1999, Allan started his own business, Vivid Packaging, Inc. whose primary business is the sale and manufacturing of plastic containers and closures. Vivid partnered with retail and cons’umer brands such as Starbucks Coffee, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Sherwin Williams Corporation during their growth spurts and was instrumental in designing, developing, and suppling these customers with their packaging requirements globally. Vivid Packaging has thousands of customers with multiple facilities through the United States, Canada as well as sales and engineering offices in Yo Yao China. Allan served as CEO of Vivid Packaging as it grew to provide hundreds of millions of containers to myriad customers annually. Allan sold Vivid Packing to Berlin Packaging in 2016. He is now an active investor in several diversified financial segments. He resides in La Jolla, has daughters and Australian Labradoodles and is a loyal Cleveland Browns fan.
