An award-winning advertising and public relations plan called Create a Jewish Legacy© supports ELI. Create a Jewish Legacy© ads appear in Jewish publications and secular performing arts magazines around the major Jewish holidays. Radio spots on KPBS public radio that air around the High Holidays, Chanukah and Passover invite listeners to create a Jewish legacy.
All individuals who have established legacies during the course of the program are listed in the Create a Jewish Legacy© Chanukah ad and are invited to sign the Book of Life, a treasured community archive. Information is also communicated through Web sites and press releases.
The Create a Jewish Legacy© marketing campaign recently won a first-place Public Relations Society of America San Diego Chapter award for programs in integrated communications.
